Provide Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) (HLTAID009)

 

At the end of this course you will get a statement of attainment with the following accredited units of competency: 

In inline with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, HLTAID009 should be updated every 12 months.
 

The CPR course covers the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
The course applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
The course is a ½ day course and includes theory and practical components.

Physical Requirements:
It is important to note that this CPR element of this course requires a level of physical ability to complete practical assessments.
All students are required to perform 2 minutes of CPR on an adult manikin on the floor and 2 minutes of CPR baby manikin. If your health or fitness will not allow you to demonstrate this, you will not be awarded a nationally accredited certificate.  

 

Components of the course include:
